Incentives
Rural State Incentives: Levy County is a designated "Rural County" by the State of Florida. With that designation, combined with having parts of Levy County designated an Enterprise Zone, special incentives are available to those businesses looking to locate into our area.

Enterprise Zone: 15.09 square miles within Levy County has been designated an Enterprise Zone through the Governor’s Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development of the State of Florida. Existing businesses and those that locate into the “Zone” may qualify for incentives such as Job Tax Credits, Sales Refunds on Building Materials and Business Equipment, as well as other benefits. The Enterprise Zone also gives priority to those businesses seeking other incentives such as grants from the State of Florida. Levy County is a member of the Rural Areas of Critical Economic Concern (RACECs) with the State of Florida division of Enterprise Florida as well as other entities that provide resources for the citizens and businesses of Levy County.
